Mordovia is strengthening its investment attractiveness

A strategic session was held in Mordovia to enhance the region’s investment attractiveness through industrial development tools. The event was organised by the Autonomous Institution “Technopark‑Mordovia” together with the Institute of Knowledge Economy, with the support of AKIT RF.

The event brought together representatives of executive authorities, enterprises, industrial clusters, managers of infrastructure sites and key development institutions of the region.

The session’s programme covered the full range of current areas of industrial policy: from developing cluster initiatives and creating industrial parks to support mechanisms and the implementation of ESG approaches. A separate block was dedicated to aligning regional objectives with the national development goals for the period up to 2030 and 2036.

In an interactive format, the participants carried out a detailed analysis of the challenges outlined in the region’s Socio‑Economic Development Strategy, identified potential growth points and formulated practical solutions.

“For Technopark‑Mordovia, holding a strategic session is an important stage in developing the republic’s industrial ecosystem. Today, our task is not just to talk about the existing support measures, but to help enterprises build a clear roadmap for implementing investment projects — from the idea and technology development to launching production and entering new markets. I am confident that the joint work of the participants has helped generate concrete solutions that will contribute to enhancing Mordovia’s investment attractiveness and creating new industrial growth points,” said Pyotr Volkov, General Director of the technopark.

“Events like this not only help update knowledge about the current state support measures, but also allow us to identify promising areas for industrial growth through direct dialogue with the business community,” noted Gleb Salmin, Consultant at the Mordovia Republic Development Corporation.

Following the session, all proposals will be consolidated for further elaboration and inclusion in the regional strategy. This will help Mordovia not only strengthen its position in investment ratings, but also reach a new level by significantly boosting its investment attractiveness.
